I personally thank all our wellwishers who have showered praise on our Junagade health foundations's navratri activity " Glory of the Phoenix" where we are presenting extraordinary success stories of lady heroes who have risen from the ashes of Cancer like a Phoenix! I thank all the family members and all our patients who consented for this activity as for many it is still a social taboo to disclose one's illness especially in females due to conservative social thinking about marriage! I have faced innumerable challenges in convincing patients relatives for the need of treatment in blood cancer and blood diseases at Lotus hospital since I started practice in India in 2008. We started Junagade health foundation in 2012 to help girls and young females with blood diseases and blood cancers.
